Market Integration and Disease
In collaboration with researchers at Duke University, Association Vahatra in Madagascar, Ben Gurion University, and Dartmouth College, we are investigating how people's participation in subsistence farming versus market participation influences their use and interaction with the landscape in ways that affect disease transmission.
Our lab is specifically investigating how growth of different crops alters small mammal composition, parasite composition, and risks of zoonotic disease. |
