Georgia Titcomb, Assistant Professor
Georgia is the PI of the Wildlife Disease Ecology Lab at CSU. She studies a wide range of topics relating to wildlife disease, and is most interested in thinking about multiple-host and multiple-parasite systems. Many of her research questions revolve around issues at the human-domestic animal-wildlife interface, which means that she is very excited to work with sociologists, anthropologists, veterinarians, epidemiologists, and other ecologists to tackle disease questions in the anthropocene. When she isn't getting her hands dirty in the field or keeping them clean in the lab, you can find her exploring the outdoors, running, or making art. georgia.titcomb [at] colostate.edu |

Becca Windell, Ph.D. Student
Becca is a PhD student studying chronic wasting disease in mule deer. She received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University, where her interests lie applying animal behavior research to disease, conflict, and other management challenges. In her free time Becca enjoys running in the mountains alongside her husband and two dogs, Josey and Riley. |
Jon Maxwell, Ph.D. Student
Jon is a veterinarian and Ph.D. student researching a variety of threats to the conservation of vultures in Zimbabwe. Jon’s research interests lie at the intersection of animal health and environmental health. He received his B.Sc. in Zoology at Ohio State University and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University. When Jon isn’t researching, you can find him at a coffee shop or exploring the backcountry. |
